Feature
Rayon is a very ancient fiber variety. It was created in 1893 and officially named "Viscose Fiber".
Rayon is a cellulose fiber. It uses natural fibers (wood fiber, cotton linters) as raw materials to make soluble cellulose xanthogenate through alkalization, aging, sulfonation and other processes, and then dissolve in dilute lye It is made into viscose, which is made by wet spinning.
Viscose fiber is the state of the intermediate product of the process, and the essence of viscose fiber is still the cellulose fiber extracted from natural wood fiber.
Using different raw materials and spinning processes, ordinary viscose fiber, high wet modulus viscose fiber and high-strength viscose fiber can be obtained respectively.
Ordinary viscose fiber has general physical and mechanical properties and chemical properties, and is divided into cotton type, wool type and filament type, commonly known as rayon, artificial wool and rayon.
High wet modulus viscose fiber has higher degree of polymerization, strength and wet modulus.
